The Mobile Data Collection and Analytics Program Lead will contribute as a member of the Mobile Product Strategy team. Responsibilities will include technical program management of data collection activities and analytics requests. This is a very hands on position. The ideal candidate should demonstrate sound technical background along with exceptional ability to manage various aspects of the program.
Responsibilities:
• Create and manage detailed tracking and prioritization program for data collection initiatives
• Create and manage detailed tracking and prioritization program for analytics requests
• Manage 3rd party vendors supplying platforms and executing SOWs related to data collection and Mobile Data Analytics
• Provide technical review of analytics deliverables generated by MDA team
• Provide technical review of data collection deliverables generated by data collection engineer or 3rd Party SOWs
• Host weekly project meetings to review workload and prioritization
• Generate technical presentations to outline various program details to inform executive leadership
• Interface to peer teams to coordinate priorities
• Establish data collection policy requirements pertaining to customer product experience
• Create quarterly strategic impact presentations to underscore team's impact to overall Mobile Product Strategy
• Maintain vendor roadmaps for Radio Access Network (RAN), data collection platforms, and data analytics platforms
• Lead data analysis efforts requested by leadership
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Communications, or eight or more years of work experience.
• At least 5 years experience in wireless network data collection program/project management
• At least 5 years experience in wireless network data collection program/project management
• PMP certification, or 5 years experience
• Excellent knowledge of wireless data analytics tools and platforms
• Understanding of 4G/5G network metrics (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, Throughput. Latency, Jitter, etc)
• Experience supervising technical team members with proven prioritization strategy
• Willingness to travel.
• A valid Driver's license.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with data collection platforms (i.e. XCAL, XCAP, QXDM, Soluteria, Keysight)
• Experience deploying and testing small cell networks
• Experience creating/managing benchmark testing programs
• Experience producing data analysis outputs
• Experience in data science and analysis platforms like Alteryx, OmniSci, Tableau, ESRI
• Project Management experience and skills.
• A programming background.
