HomeDog is a unique dog-friendly space that is the perfect second home for dogs and dog lovers, combining a bar/coffee shop, coworking space, and dog daycare facility. Our venue offers a fun environment where members and their dogs can blend productivity a play, while enjoying great coffee, drinks, and light food options. We are looking for a personable and skilled Bartender/Barista to serve coffee beverages, draft beer, wine and reheated food items while helping build the community atmosphere for HomeDog’s members and walk-in customers in the Platt Park area of Denver.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a full range of coffee drinks, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brew, using professional barista techniques.
Pour and serve draft beer, wine, and canned cocktails.
Heat and serve pre-made food items such as burritos and empanadas.
Maintain a clean and organized bar, coffee, and food prep area.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
Engage with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming environment.
Manage inventory and restock as needed, ensuring all supplies and ingredients are available.
Handle card transactions through our payment processor platform.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years prior experience as a barista and/or bartender.
Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
Experience serving alcoholic beverages, with TIPS certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Must be 21 years or older.
Competitive hourly wage plus tips.
