Duties: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities of an organization that serves food and beverages. Attend to customers and taking in-restaurant and delivery orders. Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records. Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service. Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary. Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, hire new staff, and evaluate employee performance in dining and lodging facilities. Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety. Assess staffing needs and recruit staff. Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted. $79,310/year.
Requirements: Employer will accept 12 months of experience in the job offered or in a restaurant manager-related occupation. Position requires 12 months of experience in the following: 1) Sanitary standards and food preparation standards; 2) Point of Sale Software; 3) Inventory Management Software; 4) Coordinating schedules and staffing; and 5) Monitoring budgets and inventory.
