The Golden Diner is one of the busiest restaurants in Golden serving well over 1500 guests per week. We are a semi-traditional Diner serving fresh, consistent, Chef driven selections. The owner has been a Chef for over 35 years in cities such as San Francisco, Las Vegas, Austin, Chicago and Denver.

Breakfast/Lunch Server
Part Time. As shifts become available, you may pick them up to add to your schedule. Shifts can start as early as 6:30am and end as late as 3:00pm
Available shifts:
Friday Opening Shift 6:30 to first cut (shift is normally about 6 hours)
Saturday Opening Shift 6:30 to first cut (shift is normally about 7 hours)
Sunday Opening Shift 6:30 to first cut (shift is normally about 7 hours)
Expectations
This is a busy restaurant; you must have at least 2 years breakfast serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant. Expect to put in your 10,000 steps!
A full-time server should make over $100,000 here between wages and tips. I am not messing with you. With just these 3 days I’m looking to fill, you will easily clear $50,000 in just tips.
Tip out is 2% per server assistant. You will be expected to tip out your food runner, host and beverage runner. There are days when you won’t tip out to anyone because we don’t schedule them. There are days when you will tip out 3 people. Trust me, if you are tipping someone out, they are increasing your total sales and tips, so let’s understand this from the beginning without making it an issue.
Service standards are very high! Please understand, I will dictate a lot of what you do, however your service style is your own. Mistakes will be kept to a minimum. Speed and efficiency are expected without you looking like you’re running a race. Upselling is a must. Show up. Be on time. Addictions will be left at the door. Have fun. Get along with your co-workers. Keep the drama llama with your mama. Theft gets you fired. Stay in your lane. Have a personality! Enjoy your customers. Make friends. Take the job seriously. Trust me, I know what I’m doing. I trust you to know what you are doing. If I think you are good, you will know it. High tides raise all ships.
