Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus for catering events
As the Catering Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus for catering events
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards
Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs to meet budgetary goals
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless service and client satisfaction
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace
Assist in developing new recipes and menu items based on current trends and customer feedback
Work off site events as event chef for grilling, carving, etc
