Have FUN storytelling, telling jokes and taking guests to eat at local restaurants as a part-time FOOD TOUR GUIDE with Delicious Denver Food Tours.
The job:
Guide 3 hour food tours through LoDo taking groups of up to 16 guests to 5 restaurants for tastings
Talk about Denver's dining scene, our restaurant partners and tastings (script provided with paid training)
Tell fun stories about Denver's history, architecture and street art
Talk about city landmarks like Coors Field, McGregor Square, the Dairy Block and Union Station
Get to know guests, make friends and make sure everyone's having a great time
Hours:
3.5 hour shifts, typically 11:45 am - 3:15 pm or 12:30 - 4 pm. Currently hiring for Thurs-Sun (Downtown Food Tour route) with opportunities to work other days of the week as scheduled or picking up shifts from other guides
Availability to guide at least 3 tours per week required
We offer extensive flexibility by scheduling guides one month out. You let us know when you're available to work
Pay:
$20/hour plus tips (typically ranges from $40 - $150 per tour). Average effective hourly for current guides is $30-$60
Training is paid (typically 5-7 tours with an experienced guide). Script is provided, but guides are not required to memorize it word-for-word
Annual bonus, bonuses for reviews, included tips ($10/guest) on private tours, IRA matching
