The Elbow Room, a family owned restaurant in Lakewood, CO, has an immediate opening for (1) bartender/server.
SERVER/BARTENDER - Candidates should be strong servers with leadership qualities, and those who can BOTH serve and tend bar.
Responsibilities include:
Creating a warm environment for our guests
Ability to serve drinks, take orders, bus tables, and maintain appearance of restaurant
Communicate professionally and effectively with kitchen staff, servers and customers
Use of POS system to place orders and collect proper payment
Be familiar with and practiced at executing recipes for common cocktails
Perform side work to maintain a clean, sanitized, organized bar
A positive attitude and dependability is required as is ability to work well under pressure
Experience in a full service restaurant and bar is required
Flexible schedule, shifts are daytime, evening and weekends.
Applicants must have both bartending and serving experience.
