Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bilingual General Manager (Spanish-English) to lead the daily operations of our ice cream parlor. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in restaurant management, excellent leadership abilities, and the ability to maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cash closings, balance registers, and ensure accurate financial reconciliation.

Manage and operate the Toast POS system efficiently, including menu updates, reporting, and employee management functions.

Supervise, train, and support employees to maintain a positive, productive, and team-oriented work culture.

Oversee inventory levels, conduct weekly inventory counts, and place orders with vendors in a timely manner.

Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Handle customer issues professionally and ensure excellent customer service standards at all times.

Create weekly schedules and ensure proper staffing coverage.

Monitor product quality, consistency, and presentation throughout the day.

Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining proper documentation.

Work closely with ownership to maintain smooth operations and achieve store goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in restaurant management is required.

Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written).

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of inventory control, ordering processes, and cost management.

Comfortable enforcing company policies and maintaining a professional work environment.

Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Experience using Toast POS.

Knowledge of basic scheduling and labor management.

Customer service experience in a similar environment.
