Our established R&A healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver/Personal Care Provider for the Denver Metro Area. This role is crucial in supporting clients with special needs, ranging from children to seniors, helping them maintain a high quality of life in a respectful and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with meal preparation, including learning and respecting ethnic cuisines (such as Nepalese dishes).
Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized living space.
Assist with shopping and running errands as needed.
Deliver personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Offer respite care to families, allowing them time for personal needs.
Provide transportation to appointments and events; keep track of clients’ doctor appointments.
Demonstrate flexibility to adjust schedules for family events and changing needs.
Respect cultural practices and prayer times, especially for clients from Nepal.
Client Profile
The primary clients are a husband and wife team from Nepal who require assistance with homemaking and personal care. The ideal candidate will value cultural differences, be eager to learn about Nepalese food, and respectfully accommodate their prayer schedule.
Work Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Flexibility is required to accommodate occasional changes for family events.
Qualifications and Requirements
Impeccable communication skills and the ability to solve problems quickly.
Cheerful, receptive, kind, and compassionate demeanor.
Experience working with adults with mental deficits is a plus, but not required.
Reliable transportation is mandatory.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
Must be able to pass a background check (processing time: 5-7 business days).
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
Willingness to learn and be trained in non-skilled care.
Ability to respect and accommodate cultural and religious practices.
Compensation
Monthly pay is offered, with cash advances available. Additional hours can be provided by working with multiple clients to meet preferred scheduling needs.
