CNA CAREGIVER IN HOME
CNA Caregiver, or at least 1 year caregiving experience, needed to care for a disabled 69 year old female in her private home in the Thornton CO area. Candidate must be very reliable, flexible, compassionate and able to follow procedures.
Client is on a ventilator, communicates through a device or by using the alphabet, a quadriplegic and has an abdominal feeding tube.
The shift is from 11 pm – 8 am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
The training will be 8 days on the 8am-4pm shift with another attendant and up to 2 nights on the 11pm-8am shift to learn the routine
When working the 11pm-8a the training pay is $20 and after training the pay is $25 an hour
Candidate will be trained on trach suction, bedpan, the ventilator, feeding tube, and all other duties required of the position.
Working weekends and holidays is a requirement. All attendants must be able to switch a shift or cover a shift, as well as cover sick leave or holidays, for other attendants
The candidate must love animals as the client has 2 small dogs
