Private dental practice looking for a smart, highly motivated, front desk with excellent customer service and all times positive attitude.

Job Duties
-Answering phone calls and scheduling patients
-Verify insurance benefits and calculate accurate copays for patients prior to their appointment
-Checking patients in and out, collecting copays and post payments
-Post completed treatment and prepare claims to be sent electronically
-Reviewing patient accounts and determining appropriate billing distributions
-Processing statements and entering information into the management software; and reviewing past due bills and following up on past due accounts.
-Understanding theÂlingoÂon explanation of benefits and having payment posting experience
-Experience in dealing with insurance companies and being able to work around their stall tactics and get claims
-Explain treatment plans, insurance coverages and financial responsibilities for patients
-Prepare referrals, prescriptions for patients
-Electronic communication and sharing records with other providers as needed
Required Job Skills:
-Excellent clerical skills
-Advanced typing
-Fast and accurate; excellent communication skills
-Written and oral; ease of working on the phone and helping with general office duties where needed; good problem solving skills; excellent attention to detail & ability to stay current with policy changes; and expertise in dental billing and/or collections
