Kavod Senior Life is currently seeking a FT Temporary Assisted Living Housekeeper (1 to 3 months) to join our team! If you're looking for work where you can make a difference and be a part of a great team this may be the position for you.
SUMMARY: Perform ongoing housekeeping that is essential to the appearance and continuous upkeep of the AL apartments and assigned areas under the direction of the Director of Assisted Living.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Cleans AL apartments as assigned, including vacuuming, dusting, and mopping; cleaning sinks, tubs, countertops, toilets; empty trash; other duties as assigned by Director of Assisted Living.
2. Positive communication with other staff as well as positive interactions with residents.
3. Ensures safety for all residents while cleaning/caring for apartments.
4. Responsible for upkeep and control of custodial supplies for the AL office.
5. Required to follow rules and regulations as set forth by the organization.
6. Assists at times with Care Partner duties as needed.
7. Cleans Assisted Living dining room as assigned; including tables, countertops, equipment, cabinetry, and floors.
8. Provide backup server duties as required.
9. Performs all other assignments or jobs as designated by Director of Assisted Living.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Must be 18 yrs. of age or older and have 6 months of related experience or training. A high school diploma is helpful, but not required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: He/she must be able to read, write, and speak English. Also have the ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must have good communication skills and ability to work well within the organization as a team member and understand the importance of confidentiality.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm and 8:00am-4:30pm for training.
COMPENSATION: $18.81/hr
In addition to the base compensation, this role is benefits-eligible, subject to plan rules and eligibility requirements.
