Duties
Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure that dietary needs are met.
Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individuality at all times.
Monitor and document changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Provide compassionate care for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, adapting approaches to meet their unique needs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in patient care or direct support roles is preferred.
Knowledge of assisted living practices and memory care techniques is a plus.
Certification in CPR is required for all PASA services.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
