Covell Care and Rehabilitation is a one-of-a-kind mobile outpatient practice offering physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We are looking for a physical therapy assistant to work in one of our partner facilities, the Chanda Center, providing services within their collaborative model. This is a great opportunity for a therapist who is looking to manage their own caseload, work as little or as much as they would like, and work with a unique group that offers various development opportunities.
Job Purpose: To complete therapy with patients by establishing and following the therapy plan of care, following all recommendations, and staying in compliance with federal, state, and practice rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide communication with the office staff as needed
Communicate about availability in covering patients when asked
Attend therapy treatment sessions on time, in-person or via telemedicine
Evaluate and provide therapy to patients in ethical, appropriate provisions, adhering to practice and privacy standards
Maintain updated licensure in good standing
Complete therapy documentation within 24-48 hrs of treatment
Maintain all requested HR documents
Other duties may be required
