Busy, fun pediatric office needing Medical Assistant Full Time.
Must be energetic and willing to step in wherever needed.
Position to work at both locations in Denver and Parker. This position must be flexible to go to each office from time to time to cover. The ideal candidate must provide outstanding patient care and enjoy working as an integral member of a team. We look for team members that are friendly, productive, efficient, and able to multi task and prioritize on a daily basis, as well as possess strong computer skills and are comfortable with using computers and software in all aspects of their job. Responsibilities and Duties:
Office medications, tests and procedure pre authorizations
Injection administration
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
Utilization and maintenance of MS Outlook
Attaching, scanning and labeling patient records in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Entering and maintenance of medications in EMR
Distribution of incoming correspondence
Answering of phone calls
Internal/external medical records requests
Processing and mailing physician consult notes for office visits
Opening and closing of offices
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must have reliable transportation to be able to move between locations during the workday if needed
Maintain a high level of professionalism in appearance, behavior and communication
Communicate verbally and in writing in a precise, clear and professional manner
Compassion for patients and the desire to help them
Possess and display a high level of patience in all situations
Effectively and prioritize and multitask in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment
Possess a intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Navigate the internet proficiently and in a professional manner
Ability to function at a high level of efficiency without supervision
Have an exemplary work ethic
Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
Required to have a high school diploma or GED and Medical Assistant School or experience
Possess the skills to work with others in cooperative and supportive manner
