We are seeking an experienced HVAC Delivery Driver with at least 2 years of driving experience, particularly with a C6500 steak bed truck, to deliver HVAC equipment and materials to various job sites. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and skilled in safely transporting and unloading large HVAC units and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a C6500 steak bed truck for the transportation of HVAC equipment, tools, and materials.
Load and unload HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, and related parts, at customer locations or job sites.
Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Inspect truck and equipment before and after trips to ensure everything is in proper working order.
Communicate effectively with customers and warehouse staff to ensure accuracy in orders and deliveries.
Maintain proper documentation, including delivery logs, receipts, and any required paperwork.
Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure safe operations.
Assist with the organization and inventory control of HVAC equipment in the warehouse when not on delivery.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of driving experience with a C6500 steak bed or similar truck.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and materials is a plus, not required.
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50+ lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and handle basic mechanical issues is a plus.
