Drill Rig Operator
Duties:
Get crew started with good plan
Lead crew of 3-4 people
Make sure utility locates have been completed
Pothole utilities in bore path
Establish run line for bore
Operate/locate HDD equipment
Assist labor crew / assign tasks
Vehicle and equipment maintenance
Keep crew productive on job site
Haul trailers / rigs to site
Provide training and assistance to coworkers
Splice conduit if needed
Fuse conduit if needed
Mix mud
Keep accurate daily logs and bore logs
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Ready to learn new processes
Have a good attitude
Self-motivated with a good work ethic
Ability to work outdoors during all seasons of the year
Ability to lift/carry up to 80lbs.
Must work well with others
Experience operating/locating HDD
Experience drilling rock, back reaming, and locating
Ability to read job plans/prints
Ability to call 811 utility locates
Pluses:
