The Door Store is seeking an individual for the position of Installation Assistant. Experience in trim carpentry, residential door installation is helpful but not required. At a minimum experience with construction industry as general labor. Duties will be to assist the lead installer with the installation of custom/semi-custom residential exterior and interior door units. You will be responsible for tool setup and tear down, job site clean up, movement of product and other duties as assigned by lead installer. Must be able to lift in excess of 80 lbs and be able to be on your feet for a full day of work. This is a full time 40+ hr a week position. Reliable transportation required to be able to get the shop in the mornings. You will be required to stay on job until completion which may at times be until after 5pm. As you will be an integral part of the install team you have to be dependable. Clean appearance is required as you will be dealing directly with homeowners/customers. Clean Driving record and license required.
