Central Presbyterian Church is seeking a qualified individual to fill the following position:

PT Facilities Assistant

Job Description:

The Facilities Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of the Facilities Manager in caring for an historic downtown Denver church. The principal job functions include:

Janitorial duties such as vacuuming, trash and recycle removal, and cleaning including bathrooms;

Maintenance, including some building and grounds care as directed by the Facilities Manager, snow removal, tree and lawn care, raking, sidewalk and general area cleaning, etc.;

Assistance in setting up and taking down events such as concerts and other programs; and

Other tasks as the Facilities Manager assigns from time to time.

Janitorial or general handyman experience is desirable. Qualified candidate must be able to climb up and down a ladder and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds (ice salt bag, for example).

The Facilities Assistant is a part-time position of 12 regularly scheduled hours per week with the possibility of up to 3 additional hours per week depending on the church schedule and availability. The additional hours may be during weekday evenings or weekends.

Compensation:

The compensation is $20/hour. There are no additional benefits.
