We are looking for a garden maintenance technician who has a passion for plant care and yard care!
Status: Full time, Non-exempt, Non Management
Job Summary: Perform general garden maintenance.
Gardening Duties/Responsibilities:
· Plant, transplant, and maintain perennials, grasses, and shrubs, including tasks such as hand watering, deadheading, shaping, and pruning.
· Keep garden beds and surrounding planting areas free of debris, including weeds, leaves, and trash.
· Rake Debris out of Lawn and beds (pine needles, leaves, etc.)
· Conduct soil moisture tests to determine proper watering schedules and techniques.
- Pick up plants from nursery as needed
- Plant perennials and shrubs as needed
· Weeding by hand. If weed issues are present, suggest client to call Company to Spray (James Tree & Shrub)
· Apply mulch to garden beds, ensuring proper coverage and fluffing/top dressing as needed.
· Utilize power and hand tools to complete gardening tasks efficiently and effectively.
· Complete any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
· Fall Clean Ups
· Winter Watering
· If there are dead plants or other areas of the yard that need attention, contacting the designer and/ or irrigation dept.
Qualifications and Education:
· Garden maintenance experience
· Valid Colorado Drivers license with a good driving record
· Clean Driving record
· English speaking with Spanish being a plus

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
· Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise agreed upon in writing
· Stand and sit for prolonged amounts of time while working outside in the elements
· Walk, bend, kneel, and twist
· Constantly lift and move up to 50 pounds
· Finger and hand dexterity to feel, handle, and operate objects, tools, controls, and reach with hands and arms
