We are a small garden maintenance business that works with high end clientele throughout North and South Denver. This is a seasonal position from March until the end of November. Garden helpers are paid as sub contractors and will be given a 1099 at the end of the season. 1099 Sub Contractors are responsible for with holding taxes. Garden helpers start at $23-$25/hr depending on experience.
We are currently looking for 2-3 Full or part-time helpers to assist on our maintenance teams as we continue to take on more business. Ideally we would like to hire individuals that know how to prune perennials, annuals, and how to prune and shape shrubs. Individuals who apply must also have reliable transportation to meet the team on different job sites daily. Below are a list of requirements we are looking for. Please note, we are looking for individuals that would be available for the remainder of the season. Our season runs until the end of November.
Job Requirements:
1. Strong attention to detail with strong work ethic and be in good physical shape!
2. Trust worthy with personal client information
3. Presentable personal image for high end properties
4. Dependable personal transportation
5. Able to follow direction and take lead when asked to work alone
6. Able to drive in-between job sites throughout the day
7. Basic knowledge of perennial flowers and shrubs
8. Ability to learn how to shape shrubs and prune
9. Customer service skills to talk with clients as needed when working alone
10. Ability to take on leadership roles when other supervises are not on staff
Over all we are looking for dependable staff that have a strong work ethic, reflect their passion for gardening through their work and are committed to work for the rest of our season.
