House Manager
Location: Lakewood, CO
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (approx.)
Compensation: $18 to $23 an hour depending experience
About Us:
We are a busy, professional family looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented House Manager to help keep our home running smoothly. With one child, a friendly dog, and a work-from-home parent, we need someone proactive, reliable, and skilled at managing household tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Household Management & Organization:
Ensure the home remains tidy and orderly throughout the day.
Light cleaning duties, including vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning light switches, making the beds, etc.
Organize closets and maintain an efficient home system.
Manage holiday décor, including putting it up and taking it down.
Keep windows clean and entryway swept and presentable.
Laundry & Clothing Care:
Laundry, ironing, and minor sewing (e.g., replacing buttons).
Coordinate dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up.
Meal Preparation:
Prepare lunch and dinner for the family as needed.
Grocery shopping and pantry restocking.
Pet Care:
Schedule and take the dog to vet and grooming appointments.
Home & Vehicle Maintenance:
Schedule and oversee home maintenance projects and service providers (e.g., landscapers, HVAC, repairs).
Get cars washed and schedule oil changes.
Errands & Miscellaneous Tasks:
Occasional school pickup if needed.
Other household errands as requested.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not necessary.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
Comfortable around pets and children.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must pass a background check.
