Pay and Benefits:
Hourly Pay of $23 - $30, depending on experience and quality of work PTO - 6 days (48 hours, accruing immediately upon start date) for first year employees with significant increases each year for you to use, cash out OR roll over. Additional days off are ALWAYS approved with a 2+ weeks notice. Job Description:
As an Exhaust Cleaning Technician (KECT) you will be responsible for cleaning hoods, filters, plenums, ducts, fans, and grease boxes in commercial cooking operations (mostly restaurants) as a part of a 2 technician crew. You will need to prepare the kitchen to prevent contamination and make sure that everything is put back in the same or better condition then when you started. You will need to take pictures and fill out a short report for every job. You will use a combination of pressure washing and hand washing, with the assistance of cleaning chemicals, to uphold our high standard of detail. MOST WORK IS PERFORMED AT NIGHT, AFTER RESTAURANTS CLOSE. Most shifts are between 10pm-6am, but day shifts may be required with advanced notice.
Job Requirements:
- reliable cell phone
- valid drivers license and reliable means of personal transportation (public transportation is not reliable due to over night shifts)
- flexible schedule
- be able to lift 50+ lbs from the floor on a regular basis
- be able to set up and climb extension ladders and perform work on rooftops
- be willing to work in varying outdoor weather conditions (we do not work in dangerous conditions, but we do work when it is hot AND when it is cold)
- must be able to speak fluent english
