We are looking for experienced landscapers to join our team and contribute to our mission of urban rewilding. You will work hands-on with native plants, transforming city spaces into sustainable urban habitats. You need landscaping experience and a willingness to work hard year-round in all weather conditions.
This is a demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and the physical stamina to handle labor-intensive tasks. We generally don't use power tools. We work year round and do not do snow removal. You will have the opportunity to be part of something special, helping create a long-term impact on both the environment and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Native Plant Installation: Design, plant, and install native plants in residential and public spaces.
Landscape Maintenance: Weed, prune, mulch, and manage the ongoing health and appearance of native landscapes.
Crew Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team of diverse individuals.
Hardscape Work: Install paths, rock, and other hardscape elements.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues related to plant health and landscape design to ensure optimal growth.
Physical Labor: Perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and planting.
Qualifications
Landscaping experience.
Strong work ethic and physical stamina for demanding outdoor labor.
Ability to work year-round in all weather conditions, including rain or shine.
Willingness to embrace hands-on work without the use of power tools.
Good communication and teamwork skills
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot when plants or gardens aren’t thriving.
Interest in contributing to the long-term vision of rewilding urban spaces.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
