Powder Coating Prep Tech needed:
Busy powder coating shop in Commerce City is seeking a Prep Tech to prepare items for the powder coating process and to unload completed work for customer pick up. This will include inspecting items, light sanding, wipe down with solvent, hanging object on rack system. Unloading items, transporting items around shop, gathering coatings from inventory and returning items to their correct inventory location.
Job Requirements:
Willing and able to lift heavy weight (50lbs+) multiple times per day.
Have attention to detail and act upon it.
Honest, reliable and punctual.
Willing to learn to drive a forklift.
Understand and speak English.
Helpful abilities (NOT required):
5’10” or taller.
Valid driver’s license.
Speak Spanish.
This position is appropriate for an entry-level employee.
$20/Hour.
Paid Holidays.
Paid Time Off begins accruing immediately.
7:30 to 4:30 daily.
This position will have the opportunity to learn how to powder coat and operate all of the equipment associated with our processes: Sandblasting, powder coating, fork lift, air compressors and other equipment.
This is a real job with the opportunity to learn valuable skills. Our employees have each been with the company for many years and we’re looking for another team member who will stick.
Overtime available but not required.
