This position will report to the Shop Manager and will assist with the timeliness of production output of sheet metal fittings and ductwork for the field. This is an hourly position.
Tasks include:
· Fabricating ductwork, fittings as needed to meet production deadlines.
· Welding as needed.
· Keep the shop and yard clean of waste and scraps.
· Closing and locking up the shop
· Making sure all waste metal is properly disposed of in the recycling bin.
· As needed receive equipment/materials for receiving department.
· As needed, make deliveries of ductwork, materials and/or equipment to field.
· Misc:
drain compressor
scrap/reclaim RTU’s
Off-site duties
-drop off company vehicles for maintenance/repairs
-deliver of parts and material into the field
-trips to vendors for tools and/or materials
Skills/Experienced Required:
- Forklift
- Clean MVR with valid driver’s license
They will also need to perform any other task deemed necessary by leadership.
