Denver-metro area law firm seeks a full-time paralegal to support attorney for personal injury case load. Candidates must have at least 1 year of paralegal experience in personal injury law.
Responsibilities include communicating with clients, medical providers, insurance and legal representatives, and administrative agency/courts; ordering medical records and bills; maintaining client files; and drafting settlement demands. Some hearing/litigation work will be necessary (drafting pleadings, drafting mediation statements, responding to discovery, and scheduling conferences, mediations, depositions, and hearings).
Candidate must work well with clients and co-workers, be a team player, have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and attention to detail. Other skills required for the position include ability to use case management software, PDF management software, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Candidate must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance record in prior employment. Candidates should provide a resume. Compensation is $22-$31/hour, based on experience.
