Job Summary:A top national law firm is seeking a Mass Tort Paralegal to play a critical role in supporting attorneys with the management and litigation of complex mass tort cases. This role involves organizing and maintaining large volumes of plaintiff data, managing case files, communicating with clients, assisting with discovery, and ensuring deadlines are met.Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with all aspects of mass tort litigation including intake, filing, discovery, and trial preparation.Manage high volumes of client files and maintain accurate case management records.Conduct client interviews to gather necessary medical and legal documentation.Prepare and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, subpoenas, and discovery responses.Organize and review medical records and other supporting documents.Maintain databases (e.g., Litify, Filevine, or other case management systems) with up-to-date client and case information.Communicate with clients, courts, co-counsel, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner.Track deadlines, court dates, and document production schedules.Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials.Coordinate lien resolution and settlement disbursement processes as needed.Qualifications:Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years' experience as a paralegal, preferably in mass tort or personal injury law.Strong understanding of mass tort procedures, MDLs (Multi-District Litigations), and court systems.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Familiarity with HIPAA and handling confidential medical information.Preferred Skills:Experience with e-filing in federal and state courts.Knowledge of specific mass tort litigations (e.g., Roundup, Camp Lejeune, talcum powder, etc.).Bilingual (Spanish or other language) is a plus.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
