Seeking part time attorney w/ family law/domestic relations experience

I am a Colorado attorney who runs a boutique family law firm. I moved out of Colorado a few years ago, maintaining my Colorado work via an associate/contract attorney. That attorney is leaving for a full time position at another firm, so I am looking to replace her.

Of course, as I am normally not in Colorado, such work would include all physical/court appearances including status conferences, temporary orders hearings and final orders hearings. (Many cases still remote due to COVID, but I can still use the help.) I am flexible in defining the extent that I am also engaged in the case with drafting/reviewing pleadings, courtroom prep, etc.

I communicate well with my attorneys via email and google docs, but also happy to jump on Zoom, facetime conferences, etc. to discuss the status of cases.

Seeking someone with:

license to practice law in CO;

your own place to work (formal office space not required but a plus);

courtroom experience;

knowledge of the domestic relations field: primarily divorce, post-divorce, and Allocation of Parental Responsibilities issues;

geographic location permitting you to cover Weld, Larimer, Boulder, Adams, Broomfield, Jefferson and Denver counties; and

existing malpractice insurance (preferred).

Perks:

Partially flexible/set your own hours. You can work on cases as you are able (though firm court settings are obviously firm and will be set against your calendar).

Variable hours: this is not a full time position. Depending on level of interest, hours can go up or down. This position can be complementary to your existing law practice. Hours would likely start lower and increase as you begin work on different cases.

Competitive pay based on experience.

If this sounds like a good fit, please email a cover letter and resume via the Craigslist link.

Cover letter should include:

a summary of your experience with family law,

a summary of your experience in the courtroom,

why this position is a good fit for you,

number of hours per week you would like to work,

whether you have malpractice insurance,

whether you have your own office location, and

your anticipated hourly rate.

Thank you!
