Job Summary:
We are looking for a candidate passionate about marketing in general, views technology as an enabler of the company’s goals, and is always looking to stay relevant with new technologies and techniques to improve marketing performance. As Publication Printer’s Marketing Specialist, you will be a strategic contributor and part of a team who helps educate and support publishers as they expand their content creation and distribution beyond paper and into other forms of media. Responsible for content oversight, implementation and daily management of the organization's online marketing and social media initiatives. Monitors internet trends and e-marketing best practices. Implements and revises social media campaigns. Handles advertising, trade shows, inter-office communication and keep our web site up to date.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide technical support and coordinate with 3rd party solution providers for all customers who purchase ePublications (“online editions”) and Mobile Applications and manage all subscription accounts for customers who purchase ePublication Online Subscription Management services.
Manage and implement all email sales and email automation campaigns for the Sales Departments, as well as any customer-wide company campaigns.
Manage and update Company Website, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter profiles, and generation of 2-3 original posts a week based on blogs, industry news, upcoming tradeshows, and company updates.
Generate and manage customer accounts for PrintReleaf paper offsetting services.
Serve as primary content producer and proofreader for two semi-annual publications: Print Pulse (customer-facing) and PPC News (Internal). (Design skills to create these pieces a plus.)
Coordination with the Sales Department to collect and file all sales of Publication Printers.
Capture photos and video footage, edit said media, as needed to support the HR and Sales Departments.
Review and respond to all incoming customer reviews of the company across Glassdoor, Indeed, Yelp, Facebook, Google Business, and LinkedIn, as well as reporting false claims of employment on any of the related channel
Oversee and implement several marketing-owned software and initiatives used for text marketing, webinars, cloud-based file sharing, and internal television content management.
On occasion, provide support and/or attend industry-related conferences, serving in several roles, from presenter to booth manager to Sales Department representative.
Design, create, and update all Sales Department collateral in the Adobe Creative Suite, and provide similar services to the HR Department as needed.
Performs other duties as requested.
Desired Qualifications/Competencies:
2+ years’ experience in a marketing role at a company or agency. Solid understanding of marketing best practices and general strategies required.
Hands-on experience with developing and executing marketing campaigns, including email, print, webinar, tradeshow/convention, social media, etc.
Understanding of the email marketing process: assets, segmentation, and list management
Experience generating original content from industry resources and research, particularly for use in blogs, newsletters, and publications. Journalism experience is a plus.
Comfortable in CMS systems like WordPress or CMND
Understanding of static HTML websites and HTML coding. Prior experience using FTP or GitHub for managing website files is a plus.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Familiarity with account-based marketing methodologies.
Proven capability to serve as a collaborative team player across multiple functions and departments.
Detail-oriented team member that can review their own work and understand the “bigger picture.”
Previous experience with social media consulting, professional social media use, and/or monetizing social presence is a plus.
Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (preferably Adobe CC), InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premier is a plus. (Dreamweaver experience preferred.)
