Seeking an experienced picture framer / designer (full time) with the ability to demonstrate professional artistic results. In business since 1975, Colorado Frame Company offers custom framing from a newly designed and built state- of-the-art facility at their Lakewood location. Extreme attention to detail, an affinity for multi-tasking, computer and people skills required; knowledge of various art mediums and a Fine Art background are a plus. A great work environment and for someone with a creative drive and passion for perfection. This individual will help create, maintain, and continually improve an efficient, accurate and well-organized inventory and warehouse environment. This team member will be asked to support our picture framing department and art restoration department, in addition to the pack out and install department.
Requirements:
As a Custom Framer you’ll be responsible for building finished frames from start to finish with utmost care and precision
Assist customers in designing a memorable framing solution for their art while handling customer concerns to establish customer confidence.
Ability to work both independently as a self-starter and as part of a team on multiple projects with a positive attitude.
The ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Highly organized with strong focus, precision, and attention to detail.
A commitment to professionalism and integrity.
Effectively and adaptively communicate professionally, written and verbal, with a wide variety of people.
Must be able to cut glass and mats and practice accurate measuring
Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 50lbs.
