Supervise and lead a small team of machinist and operators
Program a variety of parts for our CNC machines
Oversee setup of our CNC swiss machines as per schedule
Oversee in-process quality checks
Help address machine alarms and troubleshoot maintenance issues
Promote a safe work environment
Collaborate with other departments and outside vendors to ensure latest machining techniques are being implemented
Help other departments when the company is bottlenecked
Required skills include:
Reading blueprints and using hand tools minimum 3 years
Knowledge of GD&T
Prioritizing tasks and maintaining production goals
Ability and willingness to work in a small team environment
Experience in a manufacturing environment 3-7 years
Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling
Programing G code for CNC lathes
