Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in all major aspects of Denver’s manufacturing plant including personnel, processes, payroll, shipping, maintenance, inventory, and production scheduling.
Position Responsibilities
1. Daily monitoring and control of Time & Attendance, updating schedules, making corrections, approving timecards, tracking attendance points, etc.
2. Review, and edit as needed, the daily incentives spreadsheet for payroll processing, post report in the break room, and send production incentive information to the corporate office every two weeks for payroll processing.
3. Participate in all new hire interviews and conduct plant tours with applicants.
4. Onboarding for all new hires including plant orientation, training plans, safety training, new hire paperwork, following up with trainees.
5. Assist Operations Manager with employee’s disciplinary actions.
6. Responsible for ordering production supplies.
7. Work along with maintenance supervisor on placing orders for parts and tools.
8. Assist Operations Manager with Safety Meetings and actively participate in SCM to ensure items are addressed and completed.
9. Reliable back up for production scheduler.
10. Reliable back up for outbound logistics.
11. Reliable back up for inventory control.
12. Reliable back up for S&R.
13. Assist Plant Manager with various projects as needed.
Reporting Relationships
1. Reports directly to the Plant Operations Manager
2. Interacts with Production Scheduler, Inventory Control, Quality Control, Supervisors, and Shipping & Receiving.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Must have High School Diploma and at least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing.
2. Self-starter, goal orientated & excellent people skills.
3. Communicate clearly and concisely in a professional manner.
4. Knowledgeable in Word processing and Excel spreadsheet programs.
