About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Parts Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks within the shop environment, supporting the daily operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the workplace. The Parts Cutter will be responsible for accurately selecting the correct shape and thickness of steel to cut, drill and/or bend to create the necessary parts used in our manufacturing process.

Duties:
Fabricate metal parts using band saws, drill press, pipe bender, etc
Manage stock of parts on shelf
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support shop staff in daily tasks and projects
Operate forklifts and overhead crane to move materials within the shop and warehouse
Experience:
Prior experience with assembly, using power tools, and hand tools
Familiarity with metal shop operations and procedures
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues
