Job Summary:

In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. In this position you will be responsible for assembling individual components into a finished product following established procedures and quality standards, often using hand tools and machinery to efficiently build products in a fast-paced environment.

Reports to:

 This position reports to Plant Operations Manager.

General Responsibilities:

 Carefully assembles product components according to work instructions, ensuring proper alignment and fit.

 Assembles and prepares Steel Storage Systems and finished conveyor systems for shipment.

 Gathering necessary parts and materials from designated storage areas.

 Operating machinery-utilizing hand tools, power tools, or specialized equipment to assemble components.

 May be required at times to spray paint products.

 Ensures every job is executed safely and completed according to the latest workplace safety regulations, laws, and requirements.

 Assists the production manager on projects in the manufacturing department as needed.

 Maintains a clean and orderly work environment according to safety standards.

Qualifications:

 Crane and forklift experience highly preferred.

 General metal fabrication experience highly preferred.

 Mechanical aptitude and basic hand/power tool experience.

 Experience with HVLP spray applications in an industrial setting is preferred but not required.

 Ability to follow instructions and read assembly blue prints.

 Ability to handle small parts with precision and accuracy.

 Meticulous focus on quality and identifying potential errors.

 Familiarity with safety standards and PPE.

 Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

 Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

 Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period of time

 Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

 Must have U.S. work authorization.

Material and Equipment Directly Used:

 Steel-toed boots and safety equipment as assigned by the production manager.

 Forklifts, manlifts, and overhead cranes.

Working Environment:

 Works in warehouse.

 Lifts min. 75# moderately, 20-50# frequently.

 Twists, stoops, and bends frequently.

 Climbs 20 ft/ ladders moderately.

 Walks, stands, reaches, and works at shoulder level or overhead frequently.

 Involves standing for extended periods of time.

Notes:

Shift-Mon-Thur-5:30am to 3:30pm. (4x10’s) with occasional overtime.
