About the role
Novomod is looking for an adaptable, and dedicated Repair Support Technician I to join our team at the Denver Repair Facility. Our mission is to redefine the industry standard for Bitcoin miner repairs by delivering enterprise-class quality and service. We are committed to setting a new benchmark of excellence, ensuring reliability and performance for our clients at every scale.
As part of our Service Center team, you will report to the Facility Manager and play an integral role in supporting our mission. You will be tasked with supporting all phases of the repair process, from intake, to cleaning, diagnostics and soldering on a variety of Bitcoin mining equipment, ensuring our customers' miners are working optimal and reliably.
Responsibilities
Implement repair procedures via the SOP’s and best practices to optimise efficiency and ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain inventory for repair parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock for your repair desk.
Work with new team members on repair techniques and procedures, promoting a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
Maintain documentation of repair activities, including repair logs, using our Workflow Management System.
Maintain the accuracy of our Workflow Management system as it pertains to repair activities and repair logs.
Contribute to a culture of teamwork, collaboration, efficiency and failing forward.
Conduct secondary diagnostics on failed hashboards to identify trends and inform product development efforts.
Collaborate with the Facility Manager on continuous improvements to the process and output of the repair facility.
Compensation: $23/hr.
Qualifications
Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle 40lbs of equipment.
Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry, with a commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
