Very stable and busy Sheetmetal/Machine shop looking for a full time saw operator
Responsible for measuring and sawing of stainless steel, steel, etc.
Responsibilities
Must know Fractional and Decimal Measurements.
Operate Horizontal and/or vertical saw.
Hold tight tolerance on lengths of cuts.
Ensures quality production through physical inspection.
Maintains high level of accuracy, efficiency and safety.
Inspect parts for flaws and cracks.
Willingness to follow instruction and help wherever needed in the shop.
Will frequently and repetitively be lifting 50 lbs.
Be self motivated, positive team-oriented attitude.
Must maintain a clean and safe working environment
Employee is regularly exposed to moderate noise levels. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, frequently using hands, handle or feel objects. Must be willing to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
