Job Title: Shipping Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Shipping Laborer to join our team. The Shipping Laborer will be responsible for the accurate and timely handling, packing, and shipping of products, ensuring they are prepared for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare orders for shipment by packing, sealing, and labeling containers appropriately.
Verify and maintain records of outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in product counts and shipping details.
Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products.
Inspect products for damage and report any issues to supervisors.
Coordinate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.
Assist in inventory management and perform periodic stock counts as required.
Communicate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping software.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Understanding of shipping regulations and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
