Supervisor: Worship Director
Purpose: To enhance public worship by providing beautiful music for the inspiration of worshipers and to the glory of God.
Hours: 3-5 hours per week
Starting Pay: $14-$16 per hour
Responsibilities:
⢠Direct volunteer praise team (singers, drums, guitars, bass, etc.).
⢠Select and play music selections that reflect Lutheran theological beliefs and contemporary liturgical worship practice
⢠Recruit praise team members from congregation
⢠Primary vocalist for contemporary worship services
⢠Play lead or rhythm guitar for contemporary worship
⢠Make recommendations regarding equipment purchases to Worship Director and Pastor
⢠Additional rehearsals with soloists, ensembles, etc. (as assigned)
⢠Other duties as assigned
