Come join our team! We are seeking an RN to join our unique and caring team here at Community Support Services, Inc. Our company is committed to high quality standards for the people we serve. Our RN (s) will help ensure the best health care practices that are in line with designated state rules and regulations for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who live in individualized settings throughout the Denver Metro area. The RN (s) would attend our warm and welcoming office for two (PT) to four (FT) days each week. Examples of duties would include protocol development and training for individualized health needs such as g-tube training, epi-pen training, etc.; physician order coordination; medical appointment follow up; medication administration record review and follow up; hospitalization and discharge coordination; medical orientation training to personnel, and other. The RN (s) would join our Quality Assurance Team in the provision of state-of-the-art care for the people we serve.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Qualification Requirements:
Currently Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado.
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
Ability to learn state rules and regulations pertaining to HCBS services in the state of Colorado and apply to the position’s responsibilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills with personnel, colleagues and the people we support.
Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to pass Criminal and Motor Vehicle Background Checks.
Valid driver’s license.
First aid/CPR certification.
