Snow Removal Technician (Seasonal, On-call)
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is seeking a seasonal, on-call Snow Removal Technician that will be operating outdoors during snow events. The expectation is a 30-minute on-call arrival time during snow events. The priority focus of this role will support the operations of Magical Winter Nights, an after-hours ticketed special event. This event runs from 3:30 PM to 10:30 PM, most evenings between November 18th and January 4th. This is a seasonal, temporary role working November–January 4th, 2025.

Hiring Range: $25.00 per hour

Essential Duties
Snow Removal (95%)
Operate a small open-cab tractor with a snowplow blade to clear sidewalks around the facility
Hand shovel emergency exits, under benches, and other areas that cannot be cleared with the tractor
Apply granular de-icing salt via tractor, walk-behind, or hand spreader
Apply liquid deicer via tractor or hand pump-sprayer
Refuel snow removal equipment as needed and report any maintenance concerns
Clearly and professionally communicate with guests, management, and teammates
Other duties as assigned (5%)
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced service environment
Ability to work weekends, evenings, on-call and holidays
