Job Description:
Mile High Plumbing, Electric, and Air is looking for an experienced and motivated Dispatcher to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a critical role in creating positive relationships and ensuring smooth communication between our customers and technicians. Your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and handle multiple tasks will be key to your success in this role. We offer an hourly wage starting at $15 and after a 90 day performance review you become eligible for pay increase/ promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all customer inquiries via phone, ensuring a professional and friendly tone.
- Efficiently schedule and dispatch technicians to customer locations.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, work orders, and service details.
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on technician arrivals or job status.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns with a calm and problem-solving attitude.
- Must be able to work in office Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a dispatcher with verifiable references.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and friendly tone when speaking with customers.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with technicians and office staff.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Not afraid to ask questions to clarify customer or technician needs.
- A strong initiative to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
