Customer Service Professional position requiring creativity, empathy, people skills and a strong desire to assist customers. Provide prompt claim investigation, evaluation and settlement or denial of claims with minor to severe exposures. Document claim files with all pertinent information and disposition. Report daily to department manager.
Job Description:
As a Claims Representative, you will ensure the delivery of quality claim services to our clients, and other parties to a claim by:
Investigating and gathering information about claims by contacting all parties involved
Documenting all decisions, correspondences, reports, and discussions
Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent customer service skills with effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to actively listen to customer concerns and ask clarifying questions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven customer relationship and conflict resolution skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Experience Required:
Equivalent work experience
3+ years of claims representative related work experience required.
Computer and math skills beneficial
Knowledge of claim payment procedures and familiarity with the automotive industry.
