This position is part-time for a Cashier/Stocker at a local liquor store. The hours are 4:00 p.m. to 12 midnight on Saturday and Sunday. The store is in a safe, high traffic area that is surrounded by restaurants and businesses. The store is open 7 days a week. The applicant must be at least 21 years old
The employee will be responsible for closing the store and:
using a computerized cash register to record customer transactions
assisting customers in the selection of beer, wine, spirits and beverages
stocking the shelves and beer cooler
keeping the work area neat and tidy
The following skills are required:
The ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively with customers in English.
The ability to exhibit a positive customer service attitude
The ability to lift 15-20 pounds
After training demonstrate the ability to utilize the cash register to accurately record transactions
Timeliness
The ability to maintain a good attendance record
Knowledge of beer, wine and liquor
