Open Road Outfitter is a local vehicle rack equipment company in Denver, Colorado. We are seeking a Sales Associate with a strong mechanical skill with hand tools to become an integral part of our team in a fun and exciting outdoor industry environment! You will be responsible for being a part of our daily operations in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Selling new and used equipment in a retail setting
Addressing phone calls and emails
Repairing and installing rack equipment on vehicles
Educating customers on types of available products and services
Monitoring, purchasing and receiving inventory
Entering and processing customer orders
Investigating and resolving customer concerns
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a retail environment
Strong mechanical ability and problem solving skills
Must have an outgoing and happy disposition
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build rapport with customers
Willingness and ability to learn custom rack and hitch installations
Looking only for employees with the intention of long term employment
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong negotiation and mathematical skills
Computer literacy
Job Type: Full-time and part-time available
Pay: $21 per hour. Hours of employment are 9:45 - 5 Monday - Friday. Employee may be required to stay later until a customers needs are met including installs.
