Network and desktop support engineer position is available immediately with a small well established IT support company having offices located in Westminster, Colorado. Base compensation is $25-$28 per hour depending on experience and benefits include paid vacation, sick pay and medical insurance. Overtime hours are likely because in addition to an after hours on-call rotation engineers always have the option to eat lunch at their desk while closing tickets.
Requirements for the position are a certification similar to CCNA, MCSE or MCP in a recent version of Windows Server or Microsoft Exchange or alternatively a recently earned Bachelor in Information Technology will be accepted as well. CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ Certification is a plus. Employment experience commensurate with required certifications may also be considered.
We operate a help desk service that provides support to users of Windows & Windows networks. We support Windows Server, Exchange and all Windows desktop operating systems. This job can be best described as a help desk or PC tech position. The successful candidate will provide support to businesses employing Windows Server 2008-2016, Windows 7-10 and Mac OS X, Exchange 2010-2016 as well as other related technologies. The successful candidate will also provide support for Cisco ASA firewalls, wireless infrastructure, monitor and troubleshoot BackupExec & Veeam, monitor and update antivirus, troubleshoot and implement LAN/WAN connectivity, support remote VPN connectivity and also provide support assistance with cloud based services such as Office 365. Application support for other technologies specific to the customer's business will also be provided.
