Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid – Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Level: Mid-level
About Us:
We’re a small, growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Denver, supporting a wide range of local businesses with their IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. Our clients rely on us to keep their systems secure, efficient, and resilient — and we rely on our team to make that happen.
We value collaboration, integrity, and curiosity. If you enjoy problem-solving, working directly with clients, and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced but supportive environment, you’ll fit right in here.
What You’ll Do:
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting IT systems across multiple client environments. You’ll handle escalated support issues, plan and execute infrastructure projects, and help clients modernize and secure their technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2–3 technical support for client systems (servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments).
Design, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
Deploy and manage firewalls, switches, and VPN solutions (experience with CheckPoint, HPE, Cisco, SonicWALL is a plus).
Manage backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity tools (EDR, MFA, encryption, etc.).
Assist with onboarding new clients and implementing IT best practices.
Collaborate with the MSP team to document client networks and contribute to our internal knowledge base.
Occasionally visit client sites around the Denver metro area for installations, assessments, and project work.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or MSP engineering.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, and networking fundamentals.
Experience with RMM and PSA tools (ConnectWise, NinjaOne, or similar).
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
A proactive mindset — someone who anticipates problems and solves them before they escalate.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local client visits.
Nice to Have:
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft 365, or Azure Administrator.
Experience with backup and security tools (Datto, SentinelOne, SIEM, etc.).
Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud migrations.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary based on experience ($70,000–$100,000 range).
Flexible work environment with some remote work possible after training.
Paid time off, holidays, and health benefits.
Ongoing training, certification reimbursement, and career growth opportunities.
A friendly, collaborative team where your input actually matters.
