The Supply Chain Coordinator manages all aspects of material and tissue flow into and out of Production. This position is solely responsible for maintaining control and accuracy over all material and tissue inventory including the execution of transactions, dispositions, record keeping and physical handling that takes place during 4th shift. This position will assist in the development and maintenance of procedures, usage rates, 5S efforts and Kanban systems where applicable and will proactively resolves inventory issues including aging/expiring inventory, bottlenecks, and storage constraints. This position must utilize electronic management systems to accurately record and verify transactions. Systems include ERP, Bar Code Scanners, Document Management Systems and Reporting Tools. Frequent communication with multiple departments is an integral part of the job. This position will be the only Supply Chain representative present during 4th shift and will be responsible for making decisions on behalf of the department during 4th shift. May require working holidays and overtime to ensure production needs are met.

Anticipated Application Deadline: February 19, 2025 (1:00PM MST)

Pay: $19.91/hr - $23.99 based upon relevant years of experience

Shift: Friday-Sunday; 11:30am to 12:00am

Shift Differential: $4.00 shift differential triggerson Friday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m. through 6 a.m. if a minimum of 6 hours are worked after 5:30 p.m.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures/work instructions, training requirements, safety practices and company

Conduct cycle count activities and resolution of discrepancies for both materials and donor inventory.

Disposition donor and material inventory based on requests or

Conduct inventory investigations and resolution on aging inventory and bottlenecks as directed by

Coordinates quality decisions for dispositions and elevates to Supervisor as

Execute inventory handling and transactions to assure inventory accuracy including appropriate use of bins, warehousing and storage conditions based on

Manage FEFO, FIFO, aging and expiration in accordance with procedures.

Maintain proper labeling of bin

Conduct inventory investigations on aging inventory and bottlenecks.

Act as subject matter expert for Supply Chain during 4th

Material Handling

Adhere to standardized SOPs and work instructions according to the functional area to which assigned, and the tools / equipment associated:

Material receiving and handling

Inventory management and reconciliation

Receipt and invoice reconciliation

Discard / Quarantine inventory management

Staging and replenishment of materials and supplies in production areas, including Controlled Work Areas

Operate material handling equipment

Assist production with disposal of regulated and non-regulated waste

Receive and handle chemicals, biohazardous materials as well as, properly store, inventory and pull for use as needed.

Donor Receiving:

Receive incoming donor material and procurement cultures and record receipt in assigned ERP and Smart Solve Electronic Receiving Form

Inspect donor material for accuracy and/or damage and disposition material accordingly

Reconcile procurement cultures to donor material and utilize electronic system to document the reconciliation

Verify and reconcile documentation accompanying donors and procurement cultures, and manage communication with agencies regarding correction, when necessary

Properly label and stage/store incoming donor material

Properly label and stage procurement cultures for transfer to sample submission location within AlloSource

Inspect and electronically receive tissue returned from customers

Inspect and electronically receive tissue transferred from satellite offices and consignment customers

Stage returned and transferred tissue in appropriate storage location for Distribution

Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.

May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 years’ experience working in a supply chain or inventory related role that required strict adherence to policies and procedures.

Ability to conduct basic math calculations to determine dimensions, sizes, quantities,

Experience working with an inventory management or electronic stock keeping system

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to communicate in English proficiently (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension)

Preferred Experience:

Six Sigma

APICS

AATB

Previous experience in a regulated, Biotech, or Manufacturing industry related to inventory management
