Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and personable Doorman/Front Desk Agent to join our team at a prestigious high-end residential community located in downtown Denver. This position plays a key role in ensuring that residents and guests experience exceptional service and safety. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong time management abilities, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role requires obtaining a Denver Merchant Guard Card upon employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet residents, guests, and visitors with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
Assist residents with inquiries and ensure a positive experience when entering and exiting the building.
Monitor and manage guest access, ensuring all guests are logged in and have proper clearance.
Security and Safety:
Oversee the building's security by monitoring surveillance systems and performing regular patrols of the property.
Enforce building policies and procedures to maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents and guests.
Respond to emergencies, coordinate with management, and contact emergency services as necessary.
Front Desk Operations:
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide accurate information as needed.
Handle deliveries, including packages, groceries, and other items, ensuring timely distribution to residents.
Assist with reservations for amenities, including meeting rooms and event spaces.
Time Management:
Efficiently manage your time to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
Prioritize tasks such as checking in visitors, managing deliveries, and assisting residents while maintaining a high standard of service.
Communication:
Serve as a liaison between residents and building management, conveying any relevant information or updates.
Keep residents informed about building events, maintenance schedules, and any important announcements.
Other Duties:
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Perform other duties as assigned by building management.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a hospitality, security, or customer service role is preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with residents, guests, and staff.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Basic computer skills for managing front desk systems and communications.
Additional Requirements:
Reliable transportation is required for commuting to and from the property.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Denver Merchant Guard Card upon hire.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks (e.g., handling deliveries, assisting with luggage, etc.).
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Work Environment:
This is a customer-facing role, requiring professionalism and a high standard of service.
The role may involve occasional evening, weekend, or holiday shifts based on the needs of the property.
Compensation:
Starting wage: $19.75 per hour
