SpotOn POS Territory Manager
Tech-Stack Advisors is an authorized, independent dealer for SpotOn.
This position is responsible for representing SpotOn Point-of-Sale systems and merchant services offerings to all types of restaurants and retail operations. Activities include pricing, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. Sales demonstrations are primarily conducted in the field at the customer’s location, but depending on the business scale, some may be conducted online or over the phone. This is not a typical 9-to-5 job. You’ll work flexible hours and schedule appointments according to your prospects’ availability. After the first year, uncapped commissions typically exceed $100,000 for the top 25% of reps. We will train you, accompany you when needed, and help you close deals. This is a 1099 commission-only role, leading to a full-time W2 Sales Manager position for the right candidate.
Required skills:
Prospecting - A critical skill that involves consistently generating a flow of leads to move through your sales pipeline. You must be comfortable walking into restaurants and retail establishments to introduce yourself.
Communication skills - You need to be able to communicate professionally and effectively, and adjust your pitch based on the client's response.
Overcoming objections - You can't make a sale without clearing objections, so you need to be able to handle them proactively. The best salespeople anticipate objections and prepare accordingly.
Educating potential customers - Take the time to educate customers so they have confidence that your solution is the best for their needs.
Listening - Be a good listener so you can understand what the customer wants and gain their trust.
Motivation - You need to be motivated to pick up the phone, pull doors, and meet your goals.
Industry knowledge - Develop a deep understanding of the industry, the competition, and current trends so you will be able to demonstrate expertise and authority.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification.
Restaurant or retail experience as a POS user.
Reliable transportation.
Friendly, Reliable, Honest.
Driven to succeed by setting goals and relentlessly striving to exceed them.
Preferred Qualifications
College degree.
A minimum of two years of relevant sales experience with a POS or Merchant Services team.
Restaurant or retail experience as a manager with POS administration responsibilities.
B2B sales experience, cold calling sales experience, demonstrated successful performance in a previous sales job
